Ana Mileva
Ana is a co-founder and Managing Principal at Sylvan Energy Analytics, where she leads the firm’s software development and technical strategy. She is the architect and product manager of GridPath – Sylvan’s advanced open-source analytical platform for power-system planning – and brings deep expertise in utility integrated resource planning, grid analytics, and energy policy. Ana has managed complex modeling studies and implemented custom analytics solutions for utility IRPs, supported government agencies in designing electricity regulations, and trained organizations across several countries in using GridPath. With a unique dual expertise as both software developer and strategic advisor, Ana has a proven track record of delivering high-impact analytical solutions. She holds a PhD from the Energy and Resources Group and an MPP from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
Elaine Hart
Elaine is a co-founder and Managing Principal at Sylvan Energy Analytics, where she leads the company's consulting practice and strategic direction. She brings over fifteen years of experience in clean energy system planning, with expertise spanning integrated resource planning, resource adequacy, complex resource valuation, and clean energy policy design and implementation. Elaine has driven innovation in resource planning and decarbonization strategy from within a major investor-owned utility and has advised state agencies, utilities, non-profits, and developers on the challenges and opportunities presented by the transition to cleaner energy systems. She holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and is an alumnus of Harvey Mudd College.
Gabe Kwok
Gabe is a Principal at Sylvan Energy Analytics with fifteen years of experience in the electricity industry. He provides technical leadership on projects involving resource planning and decarbonization, including renewable resource integration and end-use electrification impacts. His work supports the policy, planning and investment decision-making needs of clients across all sectors, including regulators, utilities, project developers, investors and non-governmental organizations. He holds a master’s degree in Environmental Management from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas A&M University.
Jaxon Stuhr
Jaxon is an Analyst at Sylvan Energy Analytics, where he contributes technical expertise to consulting projects and software development. With five years of experience in the utility sector and academia, he specializes in building robust models that support and accelerate the energy transition. His work spans resource planning, load forecasting, and resource adequacy, leveraging optimization and machine learning techniques across multiple programming languages. Jaxon holds an MS in Environmental Science and Management with an Energy Systems focus from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from UC Berkeley.
Mo Sodwatana
Mo is an Analyst at Sylvan Energy Analytics, where she supports consulting projects across the energy sector. She brings over five years of experience in integrated electricity and gas systems modeling and long-term investment planning. Her work spans decarbonization pathways, end-use electrification, and large-scale energy systems data integration. Mo holds a Ph.D. in Energy Science & Engineering and an M.S. in Energy Resources Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. from Georgia Tech.
