Work with us!

We're looking for early- and mid-career analysts to join our team.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong technical background, including 4+ years of industry and/or academic experience with production cost, capacity expansion, or other electricity system optimization-based models

  • Interest in the design of sustainable electricity systems

  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative work environment

What you might be looking for:

  • Cutting edge work that advances the transformation of the electricity sector

  • A small and relatively flat company that values learning, collaboration, transparency, and integrity

  • Flexible and/or reduced hours, remote work, and a company that respects your right to disconnect

  • An excuse to visit the beautiful Pacific Northwest from time to time

Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary component and a profit sharing component.

  • The base salary component is company-wide (applies to all roles), regionally-specific, and set based on living wage data (https://livingwage.mit.edu/). Where we're based, in Portland, OR, the base salary is $111,000 for 2026, assuming a 1,500-hour work year (equivalent to 32-hour average work weeks with about 5 weeks off).

  • The profit sharing component will depend on the role and the performance of the company. As a small company, profit sharing may be highly variable from year to year, but we intend for profit sharing to be a meaningful portion of total compensation on average, especially for more senior roles.

Benefits

After a 3-month trial period, we offer:

  • Health benefits: QSEHRA plan that reimburses health insurance premiums and health care expenses up to $440 per month (for 2026)

  • Retirement benefits: SIMPLE IRA plan with employer matching up to 3% of your compensation
